A true Blacksmith learns to understand the metals of the world. An ancient smelter from a far gone civilization sits in the town, and it takes an adept mind to understand its secrets. As a blacksmith, you must turn ores to ingots, and ingots to weapons and tools in order for the town to survive. Trust in the weight of your hammer, and forge metals of all kinds to craft better and better armaments. The town will depend on you and your expertise, each new weapon needs to be forged differently, and will behave uniquely.
The right side of the hatch will display the resources currently in use.
A lever to the left side of the hatch can be pulled to dispense the resources for retrieval.
It takes time before the resources are converted, the duration is indicated by the growing white flame sprite below the resources display.
The right side of the grate also displays the current amount stored.
The rate of fuel consumption can be observed by a growing white flame sprite below the fuel display.
When performing the process of hammering, Blacksmithing experience will be gained in the background. The amount of experience gained corresponds to the amount of hits it takes to perform a task.
